Miguel 10: Alien Evolution (formerly called Miguel 10: Hero Generation) is the sequel series to the original Miguel 10 series. This series is followed-up by another sequel series called Miguel 10: Ultimate Evolution (formerly called Miguel 10: Evolution).
Alien Evolution is set roughly five years after the original series. The storyline is notable for having matured the character and taking a darker tone, with more complex plots and more characters dying.
Plot[]
Five years after the original series, 15-year old Miguel Tennyson has returned to a normal, everyday life. His adventures all done, Miguel has taken off the Omnimatrix and has grown from a young boy into a confident teenager; however, the mysterious disappearance of Grandpa Farid makes Miguel put back the Omnimatrix again, as well as forcing him, his cousin Gaelle, and his old enemy Jeff to search and locate Grandpa Farid. At the same time, they must enlist the help of the Plumber's kids (children or grandchildren of retired Plumbers which are commonly half human and half alien) and repel attacks from a new enemy, the lowbreed.
In the third and final season, Kevin returns as the main antagonist forcing Miguel, Gaelle, and Jeff to tackle bigger problems and find out more secrets about the Omnimatrix. In the series finale, The Final Matrix, Miguel faces Jeff again in their final battle, destroying the Omnimatrix in the process. At the end, Miguel is now armed with a new Omnitrix called the Ultimomnitrix.
